All Year Round Sun Protection
Everyone is at risk to eye damage from the sun year round, not just in summer, and the greatest risk is between 10am and 4 pm. To help avoid cataracts and AMD, make sure your sunglasses block 99-100% of both UVA and UVB. Make sure they are dark enough to reduce glare but not distort colours and affect the recognition of traffic signals.
If you wear contact lenses which offer UV protection you should still wear sunglasses, as should children, and not toy sunglasses, real sunglasses that indicate the protection level the same as adult shades.
Mayer & Mayer have a vast range of sunglasses and ski goggles offering these levels of colour recognition and protection – call us now on 01704 532367 or visit our extensive sunglass website http://www.sportsshadesonline.com NOW!
